My first task at Cabletron was to write an on-line hypertext help system for our flagship software product, Spectrum. This program allowed for both text and graphics in on-line "help cards". If it had used the network to get its files, it would have been a web browser (this was back in 1990).

This program was written in C++ using OOP techniques, and used X/Motif to present its data.
