       These functions decode and encode an XX550099__NNAAMMEE structure which is the
       same as the NNaammee type defined in RFC2459 (and elsewhere) and used for
       example in certificate subject and issuer names.

       Othewise the functions behave in a similar way to _d_2_i___X_5_0_9_(_) and
       _i_2_d___X_5_0_9_(_) described in the _d_2_i___X_5_0_9(3) manual page.
